Jean Rolin is a french writer and journalist. He has received the Albert Londres price in 1988 for journalism and the Medicis price in 1996 for his novel, L'Organisation. When he was a student, he joined, like his elder brother Olivier, the Maoist movement of May 68. As a journalist, he has almost executed reporting, in particular for Le Figaro, L'évènement du jeudi, Géo and Libération. As a writer, he is the author of essays, novels, columns and short-stories. Jean Rolin, traveller and writer, is a melancholic person, who is describing worlds, societies and disappearing solidarities, Terminal Frigo is certainly the most beautiful and obvious example.
His last book, Un chien mort après lui, 2009, is a trip across the world tracking wild dogs since the suburb of Paris until the boundaries of australian's deserts.
